Bemidji residents asked to discontinue running water continuously

BEMIDJI -- The city of Bemidji is requesting residents to stop running water continuously to avoid frozen water lines. Because of long stretches of cold temperatures this past winter, the city had asked residents to run the water and they would not be charged for the extra water. The city has resumed reading water meters starting May 1.
