New Seven Clans Warroad Casino Progressing Well

According to Ray Brenny, CEO of Red Lake Gaming Incorporated, the new Seven Clans Warroad Casino project is progressing well, even though Northern Minnesota experienced the coldest winter in over 35 years.

"The project was shut down for approximately two weeks during our coldest period so we lost about two weeks of construction time due to weather," Brenny said. "As we enter into spring and summer, our General Contractor, Red Lake Builders/Woodstone Builders will be working diligently to make up some time."

A groundbreaking ceremony was held on Thursday, October 25, 2012 for the new multimillion dollar 7 Clans Casino and Hotel in Warroad, Minnesota. It's new location is located across the river from their current casino. It will feature a 600 slot machine floor, 60 room hotel, meeting and convention rooms and more.

The former Cherney property will include an RV Park, public campgrounds, a boat landing, 75 boat docks and a large parking lot that will have the capacity to host 500 cars, boats and trailers.

Full construction began in March 2013, with completion scheduled in the fall of 2014..

"There will be some great employment opportunities regarding the project as their General Contractors and Sub Contractors will be hiring to complete a bulk of the work soon," Brenny stated, "so if [anyone] is interested in working on this project, they should contact the Red Lake TERO office at 1-218-679-3350."

The Red Lake TERO office is coordinating with all Red Lake Members who are interested in working on the project.

Red Lake Gaming will also be holding a "Job Fair" on June 12th, at the Garden Center Ice Arena in Warroad from 10 AM until 6 PM. They are looking to fill approximately 65 new positions, both gaming and non-gaming related. Announcements will be coming out soon.

"I would also like to welcome all Red Lake Members to visit the Red Lake Casino Corporate Office located at the Red Lake Casino to fill out an application for the posted positions starting on June 12th, 2014," Brenny said.
