Lady Warriors roll over Cass Lake 85-48 in Section 8A East Quarterfinal - P9

The Red Lake Lady Warriors started slow at BSU against Cass Lake, as both teams squared off and exchanged baskets in the first ten of minutes of play. Cass Lake hit some 3-pointers to help them keep pace with Red Lake.

But the Lady Warriors kept attacking and by the half way mark, built up a 41-27 lead.

In the second half Red Lake pressed and pushed the Panthers hard by getting the ball out fast and taking it in once they had an opening. And they continued to run hard pretty much the rest of the way.

With about 9 minutes to play the Lady Warriors were leading by 30 and the running clock began. Red Lake still ran hard and at the end posted an 85-48 victory.

Freshman Grace White led the Lady Warriors with 33 points on the night (19 in the first half), followed by 8th grader Alexis Desjarlait with 13 910 in the first half) and Freshman Samantha Roy with 12.
