Plainsmen come through backdoor to win Warrior Challenge 2014 - P18

The Plainsmen came through the backdoor to win the Red Lake Warrior Challenge 2014 on Sunday, February 16, 2014, knocking off War Hoops by beating them twice in the Championship Round.

War Hoops had won every game until meeting up with the Plainsmen.

Last years Champions, Razor Sharp, took 3rd as they fell to the Plainsmen on Sunday.

But meeting up again in a rematch, it was the Plainsmen who were victorious and advanced into the championship round. Razor Sharp were sent to the loser's bracket by War Hoops.

The winners received $6000.00, trophies and Warrior Champion jackets. The jackets were donated by Red Lake Chairman, Floyd "Buck" Jourdain.

It was the same situation in the Women's Championship, as "Sho Nuff" had to beat Outlaw twice to win it all--and did just that.

The Tournament MVP in the Men's Division was Plainsmen's Cooper Kirkie.
