Three arrested in Cass County drug case

BEMIDJI -- Three men were arrested after a search warrant found methamphetamine and more than $8,000 in Cass County.

According to the Cass County Sheriff's Office, the sheriff's office and the Leech Lake Tribal Police, the Headwaters Safe Trails Task Force, the Paul Bunyan Drug Task Force and the Lakes Area Drug Investigation Division conducted an investigation into drug trafficking in northern Cass County, according to a press release.

As a result of the investigation, law enforcement obtained a search warrant that resulted in the arrest of three men, as well as confiscating a quantity of methamphetamine and more than $8,000, the release said.Arrested were Gary Keezer, 41, Randolph Headbird, 22 and Chavez Wind, 23. Keezer and Headbird were arraigned in Cass County Court on Friday, while formal charges against Wind are pending, the release said.
