Crookston ousts Red Lake 87-72 in Russ Smith Holiday Tournament

Crookston came out strong right from the start and never trailed, as they defeated the Warriors 87-72 in the Russ Smith Holiday Tournament in Thief River Falls on Monday night.

Thief River Falls won the Tournament with a 75-53 win over Northern Freeze. It is the fifth consecutive tournament championship for the Prowlers.

Red Lake's home opener with Pine River is on Friday, January 3, 2014 at 6 PM, and another home game on Saturday, January 4, 2014 with Warren-Alvarado-Oslo at 2 PM.

They will host Cass Lake on Friday, January 10, 2014. The two teams are 1-1 against each other this season, and Red Lake is now 4-5 on the year.
