The family of Joe "Joe Bee" Barrett would like to say mii gwetch to everyone who shared and provided a helping hand not only during his illness, but also during our time of grief. Words cannot express the appreciation we have for all who whom was there.

Special mii gwetch to: Delores, Carol and Al English, Tammy Cobenais, Joyce Kennedy, Georgia & Kip Gebeck, Smokey & Noreen Smith, Todd & Shari Smith, Sara "Pookie"€, Lisa Sumner, Marsha Boldt, Rumdy Smith, Patsy White, Mel & Snuffy Smith , Mom, Delwyn & Alex English. You guys were always there with/for us.

Mii gwetch to Descart Begay for keeping the fire going; the guys who dug the grave: Wally Holstein, Joe Graves, Verdell Beaulieu, Jay Barrett, Alex English, and Al "Baby Al" English, Tessie Barrett for making his moccasins, to the guys to brought the wood for the fire.

Mii gwetch to Dr. Anderson and the nurses at the Red Lake Hospital; you guys took such exceptional care of him. Mii gwetch to all who brought flowers, food, sat with us and shared stories, the Red Lake Fishery for the donation of the fish and for cooking it; Red Lake Tribal Council for the rooms at the Seven Clans Hotel you provided.

We sincerely apologize if we have forgotten anyone. Joe was and we are very fortunate to have such loving, caring family and friends.
