Raphael Eugene Feather, Wakinya Kahomni (Twirling Thunder) age 41, of Moorhead, MN began his earthly journey on September 1, 1972 in Devils Lake, ND. Raphael began his spiritual journey on November 15, 2013 at St Mary's Hospital, Duluth, MN.

Wake services for Raphael will begin on Thursday, November 21, 2013 at 5:00 p.m. at the Tekakwitha Center, St. Michael, ND with a Rosary and Prayer Service at 8:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at St. Michael Catholic Church on Friday, November 22, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. with burial in St Michael's Catholic Cemetery. Fr. Brian Moen will celebrate the Mass.

Serving as Casket Bearers for Raphael will be Roger Feather, Dallas Delorme, Thomas M Lee II, Thomas Lee, Aaron Thompson Jr., and Jastin Feather.

Raphael Eugene was born to Janice Feather and Raphael Peoples. He attended school in St Michael, ND; Wahpeton, ND; Pierre Indian Learning Center, Pierre, SD; Walker, MN; and Red River High School, East Grand Forks, MN. Raphael loved to joke around and make others laugh. He enjoyed listening to pow-wow music and working on bicycles. The children in the neighborhood would bring their bicycles to him and he would fix them.

Raphael is survived by his mother; brothers Curtis Guy and Adrian Guy; sisters Angeline Feather and Jocelyn Feather, all of Moorhead, MN; aunts Renita (Dallas) Delorme, St Michael, ND and Jennifer (Chip) Drake, Lakota, ND; uncles Roger Feather, Ft Totten, ND, Tom (Wanda) Lee, Fargo, ND and Kevin (Barb) Lawrentz, Serena, IL; many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and cousins.

Raphael was preceded in death by his father; paternal grandparents Peter Peoples & Virginia (Guy) Peoples; maternal grandparents Andrew Mazakahomni Feather & Angeline (Redday) Feather; brother Adam Feather (at birth); aunts Andrea Feather, Bonita Feather & Ardell Guy; uncles Melvin Peoples, Wolford Peoples & Vincent Peoples; cousins Shannon Feather, Cameron Feather, Terrance Guy, Kenneth Feather, and Adrienne Jewel Feather.

Chilson Funeral Home, Winsted, MN assisted the family with arrangements.
