New Little Rock Center starts to take shape

The walls came up on Wednesday, November 6, 2013, for the new Little Rock Community Center. It appears to be going as scheduled.

Groundbreaking ceremonies took place on July 15, 2013, and it is scheduled to be completed in January 2014.

A new Redby Community Center is in the near future, as well as a new Red Lake Community Center. Recently completed was Ponemah's Community Center and the new Ponemah Boys & Girls Club, who share the same building.

The old Little Rock Center will not be torn down, and will be used for overflow and other uses. It may also be used for kids recreation, community meetings, wakes.
