Students study water resources

Red Lake Department of Natural Resources biologist Kayla Bowe shows (from left) Hailey Johnson, Casey May and Sierra May some invertebrates that are a good sign for healthy watershed. More than 280 fifth-grade students from Red Lake, Ponemah and Redby attended the annual Red Lake Water Festival that educates the youth through a variety of 15 stations about the impacts of water resources on a watershed and pollution protection.
