Former Spirit Lake chairman loses effort at reinstatement

Grand Forks, N.D. — An appeals court has vacated a Spirit Lake Tribal Court order reinstating Roger Yankton Sr. as tribal chairman, and jubilant opponents of the former leader predicted the long power struggle is over.
