Red Lake Department of Public Safety holds first "COPS AND BOBBERS" event - P2

The Red Lake Department of Public Safety held its first “COPS AND BOBBERS” event on Fuller Lake on Wednesday, August 7, 2013. The event was sponsored by several tribal and area businesses and was an excellent opportunity for law enforcement to interact with children of the community in a positive and fun atmosphere surrounding a day of fishing, boating and a great meal. The event had over 60 children participate and all were given fishing rods and tackle and were treated to catching Pan fish, Bass and Northern Pike and were guided by Police and Conservation Officers, DNR staff and some local volunteers.

The first event was a great success and the Red Lake Department of Public Safety would like to thank the following area businesses who contributed to the wonderful community event!
