Road preservation scheduled

BEMIDJI — Motorists can expect brief delays beginning July 8 on Highway 2 and 200 in Cass, Clearwater, Hubbard and Polk counties for preventive maintenance seal coating projects.

Drivers are urged to slow down and be alert for loose gravel and oil spraying in these areas. The work zone speed limit will be 40 mph. Work is scheduled to last until mid to late July.

Highway segments include:

— U.S. Highway 2 east-bound lanes from Bagley to Fosston (approximately 12 miles)

— Minnesota Highway 200 from south of Zerkel to the western intersection with Highway 71 (approximately 12 miles)

— Highway 200 from Kabekona to one mile west of Laporte (approximately 5 miles)

— Highway 200 from Laporte to Minnesota Highway 371 (approximately 8 miles)
