2013 PAUL W. SMITH GOLF CLASSIC ANNOUNCES 10TH ANNUAL EVENT TO BENEFIT DETROIT PAL

DETROIT, April 23, 2013 – The 10th Annual Paul W. Smith Golf Classic is scheduled for August 12, 2013 at the Detroit Golf Club.
Building on nine years of increasingly productive net contributions for Detroit PAL, the event is considered one of the most successful of its kind in Michigan. With the support of the corporate community, the event has netted over $3.5 M for Detroit PAL since its inception.
The Title Sponsor is News/Talk 760 WJR. Presenting Sponsors include Ford Motor Company, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, Compuware Corporation, General Motors, The Chrysler Foundation and Toyota Motor Sales, U.S.A., Inc.
The event’s success is attributable to the personal commitment and continuous support of event Chairman Paul W. Smith, host of "The Paul W. Each year, the event hosts a sold out crowd at the historic Detroit Golf Club, with a double-shotgun tournament followed by a buffet dinner and awards ceremony. The Paul W. Smith Show is broadcast live from The Detroit Club the day of the event.
