James "Dave" Lussier

Lussier, James "Dave" age 74, of Elk River (formerly of Minneapolis) passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on June 2, 2013.

Preceded in death by his parents, James and Eunice Lussier; sister, Shirley Berrard; and brothers, John, Darwin and Robert. Survived by loving wife, Barbara; children, Collins, LuAnne Strong, Terri Parker, Dawn Smith, Jodi Adkisson, Corey, Briana, Jason and Robert; special sister-in-law, Kim (Curt) Chapin and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Also survived by siblings Jan Miller, Deloris (Ron) Tanchin, Mary (Jim) Lynch, Patti (Terry) Simmons, Jewel (Emery) Johnson and many nieces and nephews.

Dave fought a courageous 2 year battle with Leukemia. He enjoyed hunting, bird watching, gardening, everything nature...and REALLY hated Christmas.

Family and friends gathered Saturday at 12 noon with the service beginning at 1 PM at Dare's Funeral Home, Elk River, MN (763-441-1212).
