The BNCFSF course is a 2 session course designed to help Native communities and their citizens adapt their traditional skills to the wise management for financial resources.

Participants will:

 Learn about building a healthy economy.

 Develop a spending plan.

 Learn how to work with checking and savings account.

 Learn about understanding credit and their credit report.

 Learn about accessing credit.

Workin’ With Tradition

“Workin’ With Tradition” is a classroom-based soft-skills training program designed to help individuals from rural Native American communities prepare for successful employment.

Participants will:

 Develop a greater awareness of difficulties faced when seeking employment, especially when home culture conflicts with workplace expectations.

 Build greater skills managing stress and anxiety.

 Improve their skills for difficult work situations, including time management, communications skills, and logical problem solving.

5/30/13 10:00AM-3:00PM Generations in the Workplace and Workplace Coaching for Supervisors

“Generations in the Workplace” is a course designed to help participants to better understand themselves and others in the workplace. This new understanding will help them work more effectively with people from all four generations.

Participants will discuss the following topics:

 Analysis of the four defined generations

 What generation am I?

 Understanding Others

 Generational-based communications
