Red Lake Walleye Extended Ice Season - Ends on April 14, 2013

March 23, 2013 - The Walleye Ice Fishing Season has been extended until April 14, 2013. Ice conditions can change rapidly during this time of year so please be careful. No trucks or cars will be allowed on the lake after March 30, 2013, but snowmobiles, ATV's and foot traffic will be allowed. Vehicle use around the narrows area is prohibited due to hazardous thin ice. The Public Safety Department may issue an emergency closure or shut down certain access points, if ice conditions become unsafe, at anytime.
