Maple syrup tapping event planned

BEMIDJI – Lake Bemidji State Park is hosting a From Tap to Table maple syrup tapping demonstration from 12:30-3:30 p.m. March 23-24 and April 6-7.

Early spring is generally the peak of the maple sap flow; however it may be affected by weather conditions. A naturalist will demonstrate how to tap and make maple syrup.
