Cheryl Lynn (Sayers) Taylor

Cheryl Lynn (Sayers) Taylor, age 57, of Red Lake Journeyed to the Spirit World on Friday, March 8th, 2013 at Sanford Medical Center in Fargo, North Dakota.

She was born on March 3, 1956 in Red Lake, Minnesota the daughter of Eugene Sayers Sr. & Elizabeth Mary (Johns) Sayers.

She attended Elementary and High School in Red Lake.

Cheryl was united in marriage to Frank Taylor in Cass Lake, Minnesota on June 3, 1988.

Cheryl was a very devoted grandmother to her four grandchildren whom she loved dearly. She loved to buy them toys and clothes. She would give them cash for them on their Birthday and make sure they were well taken care of all the time. Cheryl loved to talk to her friends on the telephone every day.

Survived by her husband: Frank Taylor; a daughter: Holly (Robert Sr.) Sayers and four grandchildren: Diamond, Lachele, Kelsi and Robert Jr .; mother: Mary Sayers of Red Lake; sisters: Gloria Skinaway of McGregor, Minnesota and Lorraine Sayers of Red Lake; brothers: Henry Sayers Sr. and Aaron Sayers of Red Lake; many other relatives, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father: Eugene Sayers Sr., sisters: Leslie Ann Buffalo, brothers: Eugene Sayers Jr. and Dennis Dean Sayers, her nephews: Brian Buffalo, Robert Mitchell Jr. and Patrick Sayers.

Mass of Christian Burial for Cheryl Taylor will be held on Friday, March 15th, 2013 at 1:00 P.M. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Red Lake. Father Jerry Rogers will be the Celebrant. Interment later in Spring at St.

An all night wake will be held on Wednesday, March 13th and Thursday, March 14th beginning at 4:00 P.M. at The Red Lake Community Center.

Honorary Casket Bearers will be Carol Allen, Mannette Redeagle, Kathleen Neadeau, Delores Hill, Brenda Sayers, Elizabeth Jones, Gloria Cloud, Kathleen Buffalo and her four grandchildren: Diamond, Lachele, Kelsi and Robert Jr.

Casket Bearers will be Robert Cloud Sr., Brent Sayers, Monroe Skinaway, Henry Sayers Jr., Eugene Sayers III, Tony Infante and alternates: Kenneth Skinaway and Thomas Sayers.
