Audrey Lynn Swan (Paquette)

Audrey Lynn Swan (Paquette) was born April 17, 1964 in Minneapolis, MN to Warren Tibbetts and Celeste Fisher (Paquette). Audrey lost her fight to cancer surrounded by family, friends and loved ones at her home in Pine Point.

Funeral Services for Audrey will be held Thursday, March 7 at 11AM in Pine Point School, Ponsford. Visitation will held Wednesday, March 6 starting at 5PM in Pine Point School with the Smoky Hills Drum Group, followed by the Ojibwe Hymn Singers.

Audrey was bonded in spirit as one to Michael Swan on October 20, 2001 with a traditional Ojibwe wedding. They were again united in marriage on April 20, 2002 with a church wedding. Audrey loved her family, bingo, casino, traveling and her dogs lit Bill and Mya. She had worked at numerous jobs but loved working at the Boys and Girls Club in Pine Point, before staying at home full time taking care of the kids.

Audrey is survived by her husband Mike, children: Derek Greenfeather, James Lussier, Tricia, Derek Jr. and Nevaeh along with her mother: Celeste of Minneapolis, sisters: Carmen Roybal, Anita DeMarr (Terry) both of Cass Lake, Mary Rojas of Mankato, Shayla Perez and Deloris Tibbetts of Cass Lake, brothers: Warren “Tib” Paquette (Thalberta) of Cohasset, MN, Louie Paquette, Marc Kingbird of Cass Lake, Kenny DeMarce of Devils Lake, ND and many nieces and nephews.

Audrey was preceded in death by her father Warren (2005).
