Lady Warriors Advance in East Sub-Section 8A with 67-32 win over Lake of the Woods.

Will face Fosston on Saturday at 1:45 PM at REA in Thief River Falls.

An 8th Grader and Freshman combined to score 40 points in leading the Warriors to the one sided win over Lake of the Woods Thursday night at Bemidji State University.

The Freshman, Averi Holthusen, hit 4 three point shots and ended up with a game high 23 points for the Warriors while the 8th Grader, Grace White, scored 17 points and pulled down 14 rebounds.

Sophomore Tatianna McClain added 14 points for the Warriors as they improved their record to 15-5.

Tate Moeller led Lake of the Woods with 14 points, with Myrriah Laine adding 7 points for the Bears who end their season with a record of 5-21.

Red Lake shot 16-23 at the free throw line and led 37-9 at half time. Red Lake will face Fosston in the East Sub-Section 8A Semi-Finals Saturday afternoon at 1:45 pm in Thief River Falls.
