Marvin Joseph Greene

Marvin Joseph Greene, age 70, of Red Lake Journeyed to the Spirit World on Sunday, February 24, 2013 at The Sanford Bemidji Medical Center in Bemidji.

He was born on September 19, 1942 in Red Lake the son of Wallace & Mildred Sumner Greene.

Marvin was formerly employed as a welder, mechanic and a logger.

He enjoyed horses, horse racing, Pow-wows, playing Keno at the casino. He traveled across the country for horse racing and Pow-wows. He also enjoyed feeding birds and squirrels.

Survived by his brothers: Gary Green, Wallace Green Jr., and Billy Greene; his sisters: Marcy Green, Julie Raich Green, Irene Green, and Duffy Green; his son Marvin Joseph Greene Jr .; daughters: Cheryl Greene and Littlewind Greene; twelve grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by Wallace and Mildred Sumner Greene, Brother Paul Green, Sister Alma Roy, Daughter Angela Green, and Son Ralph Green.

A Wake will be held on Thursday, February 28th beginning at 4:00 P.M. at The Little Rock Community Center in Red Lake.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 1st, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at the Little Rock Community Center.

Honorary Casket Bearers will be John Johnson, Morris Smith, Joe Barrett, Carla Lajeunesse, Pat Pierre and James King.

Casket Bearers will be Harlan Johnson, Ron Lussier, Jeff Pierre, Darwin Sumner, David Johnson and Dellan Johnson.
