SLOT TECHNICIAN

LOCATION: Seven Clans Casinos –Thief River Falls, MN

OPENS: February 13, 2013

CLOSES: February 27, 2013

POSITION OBJECTIVES

Under the general supervision of the prevailing Supervisor is responsible to conduct preventative maintenance and repair slot machines for Seven Clans Casinos.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 Troubleshoots and locates problems in slot machines and makes necessary repairs, following outlined procedures.

 Coordinates with affected departments the moving, installation, conversion and/or upgrades of machines within the Casino.

 Computes jackpot or hopper fills and pays jackpots as verified by slot machine readout when needed.

 Prepares appropriate paperwork for cage transactions. Ensures accuracy of paperwork for cash transactions.

 Describe features of games and assists customers by explaining games or other pertinent information.

 Troubleshoots and locates problems in slot machines and makes appropriate repairs.

 Responsible for general slot machine maintenance and preventative maintenance.

 Discusses machine malfunctions with vendors to assist in identifying problems.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

It is required the Slot Technician have at least a High School Diploma or equivalency with electronics or a working knowledge of slot machines preferred. Must meet the Red Lake Gaming Commission license requirements.
