Red Lake 8th Grade Boys take 1st in Northwoods Tournament Series in Greenway

Red Lake 8th grade boys took part in the Northwoods Tournament in Greenway on Saturday. First game was against Esko at 11am, followed by Duluth East at noon. Greenway, Carlton and Two Harbors were the other teams in action.

In quite possibly the most exciting game I've ever coached, we were up by 1 at the half, got down by as much as 10, before making a run and then Will hits a huge 3 and is fouled with 22.6 seconds left to tie it. We get a steal with 4 seconds left and get a layup to seal the win 61-59 over Carlton.

This is the reason I love this game.
