Performs administrative and office support activities for the Constitutional Reform Initiative. Full-time position with attractive benefit package. Salary: DOQ.

Duties:

• Fielding telephone calls, receiving and directing visitors, word processing, filing, and faxing.

• Extensive software skills are required, as well as Internet research abilities and strong communication skills.

• Prepares all meeting arrangements including, but not limited to: reserve meeting space, media equipment, order meals and refreshments, finalize agenda, coordinate with on-site staff, ensure sufficient supplies are available, provides all notice to attendees via identified media mechanisms, disseminates all pertinent documents in advance.

• Provides on-site administrative support at all Constitution Reform Initiative meetings such as taking notes, disseminating documents, liaising between CRI Committee and site, and other tasks as necessary.

• Coordinates travel arrangements for all CRI Committee members, CRI staff, EDPD staff, and consultants (as needed).

• Responsible for the filing of all travel reconciliations and reports with the Accounting Department.

• Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements, calling for repairs, and maintaining equipment inventories.

• Provides information by answering questions and requests.

• Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed supplies, placing and expediting orders for supplies, verifying receipt of supplies.

• Assists the Coordinator with maintaining all grant records and preparing grant reports, including updating accounting spreadsheets daily.

• Other duties as appropriate and assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree from a four-year institution of higher education preferred, two-year degree or working equivalent required.

• Must have experience working with and for tribal governments.

• Native American Preference.
