F-M Native American Center raising money for Red Lake residents traveling to Connecticut

Red Lake, MN (WDAY TV) - A non-profit is raising money for 10 members of the Red Lake Reservation who are on their way to Connecticut to comfort families.

Not long after five students were killed at Red Lake in 2005, it would be survivors of Columbine who would comfort those grieving at Red Lake.

The F-M Native American Center is planning a taco lunch fundraiser Friday in Fargo, as a way to raise money for those Red Lake survivors traveling to Connecticut.

Tanya Red Road, F-M Native American Center: “To really be with someone who can really understand that tragedy surely a good goal. “

The taco lunch fundraiser will be held Friday at Noon at the newly opened FM Native American Center next to the Methodist church on 9th street south and 3rd avenue in Fargo.
