Joshua John Arcoren Sr.


Joshua John Arcoren Sr., age 47, Journeyed to the Spirit World on Friday, December 14, 2012 at Avera Heart Hospital in Sioux Falls South Dakota.

He was born January 16, 1965 in Minneapolis, Minnesota Alfred and Verna Arcoren Sr.

Joshua enjoyed life as much as possible when he wasn't working.

He liked to go out for walks, biking around Minneapolis, playing basketball in the summer with his son's, brother's, and nephew's. He loved spending quality time with his family and grandchildren. Joshua was very talented. He

attended many Art shows and did tons of Artwork for his family. Joshua was always laughing, making jokes, and smiling.

His Love, Wisdom, and Smile will forever be missed!

Survived by wife: Sherri Anderson, children: Leah(Keith) Arcoren, Joshua (Lovetta) Arcoren Jr. and Adam (Yissel) Arcoren; brothers: Jackson (Roxanne) Arcoren, Fred (Verna) Arcoren, and Dana (Patricia) Arcoren; sisters: Georgia (Loyal Sr.) Miller, Denise Arcoren, Celestine (Louis) Merrill, Wanita (Angel) Madison, and Jewell (Levi) Arcoren; grand children: Kauri Arcoren, iLyana Arcoren, and Khloi Arcoren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Preceeded in death by his parents Verna (Gill) and Alfred Arcoren Sr., nieces: Janelle Arcoren, Natasha Merrill, and Maria Arcoren, nephew: Curtis Arcoren, and special brother Les Anderson.

A Wake will be held at The Bois Forte Urban Office, 1308 East Franklin Avenue S., Suite 112, Minneapolis, Minnesota on Wednesday, December 19th, 2012 from 5-8 P.M.

Casket Bearers will be Jackson Arcoren, Fred Arcoren, Dana Arcoren, Davis Arcoren, Joshua Arcoren Jr., Adam Arcoren, Jewell Arcoren, Desiree Thin Elk and Justin Willey.

Honorary Casket Bearers will be Fenton Fast Horse Jr., Kevin Fast Horse, Richard Fast Horse, Angel Madison, Louis Merrill, Yakima Thin Elk and Loyal Miller Sr.
