Survivors of Suicide Day Healing Conference
What:
Bemidji is among more than 300 cities participating in the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention’s International Survivors of Suicide Day. The broadcasted program features a panel of individuals who have lost a loved one to suicide and mental health experts. The Day allows those who have are bereaved after a suicide loss to connect in their local community in a supportive and healing environment. Participants will get practical advice and guidance on how to cope with grief after suicide. Participants should bring a picture(s) of their loved one to make a memory scrapbook page. Local sponsors include the Beltrami Area Suicide Prevention Program, Heartbeat Support Group and the BSU Student Health & Counseling Center.
Please Announce- This healing conference will replace the monthly meeting of the Heartbeat Support Group. There will not be a support group meeting on Tuesday, November 13th.
