It is now Election Day, Nov. 6, 2012

It is now Election Day and we've got a lot of work to do to turn out the largest Native vote in history. We can't do this without your help.

Here are all the ways you can help right now! Register Voters, participate in Native Vote Action Week, distribute Native Vote gear and materials, use videos and social media to educate and inspire voters, and connect with your local Native Vote community.

REGISTER VOTERS!

Our goal is for our national Native Vote effort and partners to register 10,000 new Native voters throughout Indian Country. We need all the help we can get.

Voter registration ends in many states over the course of the next six weeks. With nearly one million eligible Native voters not registered in 2008 we've got a lot of work to do. Whether it's on the Native Vote website, on your website, at IHS facilities, or at powwows, there are many ways we can get people registered.

REGISTER VOTERS ONLINE!

Use and Share our new voter registration tool from Turbo Vote online or on Facebook. This new tool makes registering to vote as easy as using Netflix. When voters register through our Turbo Vote Tool they'll get their voter registration application sent to them in the mail with postage pre-paid!

NATIVE VOTE ACTION WEEK - TAKE ACTION THIS SEPTEMBER

Sign up to host a Native Vote Action week event the week of September 24-28th. If you register your event by Thursday, September 6 we'll send you a Native Vote promotional kit to help with your event.

GET YOUR NATIVE VOTE GEAR ON

Order your Native Vote Gear - tee shirts, buttons, bumper stickers, and magnets - all available on the Native Vote website. These are great tools to raise awareness and motivate your community. You can order a shirt just for yourself or for 250 of your best friends.

Customize shirts for your tribe that read "Every [insert tribe name here] Vote Counts" are available and can be ordered through our bulk ordering form.

SPREAD THE WORD - GRASSROOTS MEDIA CAMPAIGN

Native Vote has just launched the "Every Native Vote Counts" campaign and we're working with Native media across the country to get the word out. We need your help to spread the message online, in your community, and throughout your tribe.

All of the audio and video campaigns are available for free download on the website for use on local television and radio stations and online.

CONNECT WITH THE LOCAL NATIVE VOTE

Through our State Groups on NativeVote.org, Native voters, volunteers and coordinators can engage with others in the state, organize events, and make our Native Vote presence known on the website. These groups are a great way to post events, and provide information to Native Voters in the area. Also, be sure to learn more about voting and organizing efforts in our Native Vote Focus States.
