“Footprints On Our Hearts” walk held on Saturday, Oct. 20, 2012
The Red Lake Indian Hospital held its 1st annual “Footprints On Our Hearts” walk on Oct. 20th 2012. The 2 mile walk was to remember the little ones who left too soon due to early pregnancy loss, still birth, neonatal death, or in the first few months of life. Dedicated to supporting those families who have suffered the tragedy of such a loss, all families and friends who have been touched by these types of losses were invited to participate.
The walk began south of the Red Lake Hospital in the field across the hospital parking lot at 10:00 AM, with a balloon release that followed the walk along with a reading of the names of the babies.
