Clarence Beaulieu

Clarence M. Beaulieu, "Supe" was born December 22, 1926 at Red Lake Indian Hospital in Red Lake, MN to James Beaulieu and Mary Roberts Cobenais.

He attended St. Mary's Mission School until the 8th grade.

While growing up on the reservation he was always out in the Woods amongst all of the large pines in Red Lake. He used to say they were very happy times growing up in Red Lake.

He worked in the woods cutting pulp and trapping until he went to work at the Saw Mill in Redby until 1963 when he moved to Minneapolis. He worked various jobs in Minneapolis until his employment at Augsburg College in 1963 to 1992 when he retired.

He is survived by his sisters: Marian Roy, Red Lake, Joan Cobenais, Danbury, WI, Judy Moreno, St. Paul, Many Nieces and Nephews, Special Cousin Corky Goranson and Special Friend, Gloria Negrette.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Alvin Cobenais, Donald Cobenais, Richard Cobenais, Darrell Cobenais, Wayne Cobenais, Harold Cobenais, Stanley Cobenais. Sisters, Margaret and Sarah Cobenais.

Services will be at The Minneapolis American Indian Center

1530 E. Franklin Avenue Minneapolis, MN on Monday, October 22, 2012 from 5 - 10:00pm.
