Carrie Jean Kingbird , Bii deway quay da mook (The Sound of the Woman is coming) age 67, of Ponemah, Minnesota journeyed to the Spirit World on Friday, September 28, 2012 at The Jourdain/Perpich Extended Care Center.

She was born on July 18, 1945 in Redlake, Minnesota the daughter of Jude Tonce and Hazel Kingbird.

She was a member of the (Martin Clan).

Carrie loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking for family get togethers, playing cards, reading True stories, going to rummage sales and visiting with family and friends.

Survived by husband: Myron Kingbird Sr .; children: Charlene Kingbird (Mike Iceman Sr.), Charles Kingbird Sr. (Jenni) and Myron Kingbird Jr. all of Redlake, Minnesota; three special nephews she raised as her own: Melvin Kingbird Jr., Milton Kingbird and Mitchell C. Kingbird all of Redlake, Minnesota; fourteen grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren; many other relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by her parents, two daughters: Cinthia and Karen J. Kingbird, four brothers: Ervin Tonce, Clarence Kingbird, Andrew R. Cloud and Genise Kingbird and by a sister: Priscilla White.

Funeral services for Carrie Jean Kingbird will be held on Wednesday, October 3rd at 10:00 A.M. at The Ponemah Community Center. Spiritual Leader will be Steve Jackson.

Interment Family Burial Grounds near Ponemah.

All night wakes will be held on Monday, October 1 beginning at 2:00 P.M. through Wednesday morning, October 3rd at The Ponemah Commmunity Center.

Honorary Casket Bearers will be Dallas Stillday, Llewllyn Kingbird, Leroy White Jr., Edward Cloud, Robert Cloud, Virgil Kingbird, Derek Kingbird, Marty Kingbird, family & friends of Jourdain/Perpich Extended Care Center.

Casket Bearers will be Jared Jones, Charles “Chucky” Kingbird Jr., Matthew White, Mike Iceman Jr., Devan Lassman, Calvin Kingbird, Louis Kingbird Jr. and Randall White.
