ATTENTION RED LAKE DEER HUNTERS - RAFFLE

A drawing will be held on January 2, 2013 for:

•Savage Axis 30-06 Mossy Oak with 3x9 scope

•Big Game Stealth Ladder Stand

The Red Lake Department of Natural Resources’ Wildlife program is requesting voluntary submission of ADULT deer for Tuberculosis (TB) testing. This testing is being done to help protect the health of Red Lake’s deer herd.

To qualify for the raffle, bring the deer (or the intact head and at least 6 inches of neck) to the Red Lake DNR building weekdays beginning September 17th between 1:00 pm and 4:00 pm. Your name will be entered into the drawing for each deer you bring in. Heads can be brought in up to a week after the deer is harvested during cooler

weather.

Samples will be collected from the neck and cheek area for testing; the remainder of the deer will

not be affected.
