Richard Anthony Howard

Richard Anthony Howard, 34, of Redby, MN, died Wednesday, August 29, 2012 at the University of Minnesota Hospital in Minneapolis, MN.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm, Saturday, September 1, 2012 at the Redby Community Center in Redby with Rev. George Ross officiating. A wake will begin on Thursday, August 30, 2012, at the Redby Community Center and continue until the time of services on Saturday. Interment will be at the St. Antipas Episcopal Cemetery in Redby under the direction of the Cease Family Funeral Home of Bemidji.

Richard was born January 8, 1978 in Red Lake, MN the son of George F. and Julia Jones. He enjoyed going to the casino, attending pow-wows, making Indian crafts, fishing, hunting and spending time with his children.

He is survived by his adopted mother: Julia Jones; Father: Albert Kingbird Brother: Remberto (BJ) Sister: Rochelle (Ira); Children: Janelle and Anthony Howard; Grandfather: Joseph Howard; Mother of his children: Jackie Ramsey; And many nieces and nephews

He was preceded in death by his adopted father George F. Jones and mother Marilyn Howard, uncle George Howard, aunts Joanne Howard, Judy Howard, Sherilyn Howard and Mary Kingbird, grandma Josephine Howard.
