Benefit for Cassondra Johnson Blackbird

Cassondra Johnson Blackbird was diagnosed with Lung Cancer (non-smoker) in August of 2010. She has been receiving chemo and radiation in MPLS. She is currently at stage 4.

She is the Director of the Sexual Assault Program and has helped families as an advocate and to help through the healing process. Cass has always been a caring, giving and compassionate woman and has always been involved in community service work.

Please come show your support by attending this Benefit. The proceeds help with defraying medical and travel expenses. Beltrami County Thrivent Chapter 31326 is assisting with funding to help with medical expenses.

There will be a 50/50 Raffle, Silent Auction, Ham and chicken dinner with potato salad, coleslaw, baked beans, variety of salads and desserts.

The cost is $5 Kids 10 & Under; $8.50 Adults and will take place on Saturday, September 1st 4p-8p, Holiday Inn Express, 2422 Ridgeway Ave NW, Bemidji, MN 56601 (East of Luekens North).
