Attention Red Lake Members

As part of a regular inventory of livestock locations and numbers on Red Lake Lands, the Red Lake DNR – Wildlife Program is asking for your cooperation.

We are asking that you contact our office with information on chickens, horses, cattle, ducks, geese, pigs, rabbits, and any other “odd” animals under your care.

All we need to know is: your name and contact number, a location (be as specific as you can), what type of animal(s), and approximately how many.

We are requesting this information so that in the event of a disease outbreak off the Reservation, we can send out a general announcement so that you can be made aware of where, how bad, and the types of animals affected, and then take appropriate actions with or without the Red Lake DNR’s or Department of Animal Health’s assistance.
