Sheila Marie Kingbird

Sheila Marie Kingbird, “Waagosh” which means Fox, 32 of Red Lake, MN entered the spirit world on Tuesday, July 17, 2012 at the Sanford Medical Center in Fargo, ND.

Sheila was born into the Eagle Clan on November 18, 1979 in Minneapolis the daughter of Harold (Zob) Graves and Debra (Debi) Kingbird. She attended school in Red Lake and was currently attending GED classes. She enjoyed listening to music, going to the casino, being on the internet, watching TV especially scary movies, decorating her room with drawings and pictures, and cooking for her family. Her most precious prize was spending time with all of her nieces and nephews.

Sheila was preceded in death by grandparents Kenneth and Olive Kingbird, and Clyde and Irene Graves, aunt Karen Kingbird and uncle Michael Kingbird.

She is survived by her parents; Harold (Zob) Graves and Debra (Debi) Kingbird of Red Lake, brothers; Harold (Wyona) Graves of Minneapolis, Gerald (Kimberly) Kingbird, Sr. of Redby, Andrew (Ashley) Kingbird, Sr. of Redby, Jason Graves of Red Lake, sisters; Kristy Graves of Minneapolis, Tracey (Jordan) Kingbird of Red Lake, and Jasmine Kingbird of Red Lake, special friend; Gerald (Snoose) Stillday and special cousin; Adam Kingbird.

A wake for Sheila will begin at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, July 22, 2012 and continue until the 11:00 a.m. traditional service on Tuesday, July 24 all at the Redby Community Center in Redby, MN. Allen Hardy will be the spiritual leader.

Active casket bearers are Gerald Kingbird, Sr., Andrew Kingbird, Sr., Jason Graves, Harold (Sonny) Graves, Zachary Kingbird, Jordan May, Brian Graves and Joel Graves.

Honorary casket bearers will be Tracey Kingbird, Jasmine Kingbird, Holly Graves, Dawn Graves, Anita Whitefeather, Roselyn Johnson, Kimberly Pemberton-Kingbird, Ashley Brown, Tasha Brown, Kelsi Brown and Beverly Pemberton.

Interment will be held at the family burial grounds in Ponemah, MN.
