Red Lake National Summer Transportation Institute

The Red Lake National Summer Transportation Institute traveled to Bemidji MN DOT and had an opportunity to enjoy a flight above Bemidji with local pilots. Today, students were introduced to and explored the many careers that MN Dot has to offer. At MN DOT, they had an opportunity to go in a simulator that allowed them to experience what it is like to operate a road grader. While preparing for their flight, students received ground instruction on what it takes to be a pilot and how to operate a plane.
