BEMIDJI - The number of Beltrami Electric Cooperative customers without power stands at slightly more than 500 as of 8 a.m. Friday.
"We expect most, if not all, of those remaining areas to be restored today," Mitch Raile, a spokesman for Beltrami Electric, said in a news release this morning. "Crews will once again be working into the evening or until all accounts are back to normal, whichever happens first."
Two rounds of storms this week knocked out power to approximately 5,600 customers. Otter Tail Power also had about 4,400 customers lose power.
