Bemidji, MN - July 3, 2012 - City crews will be picking up storm debris for residents beginning next week. In the meantime, residents may place storm debris immediately at the curb (off the street). Please have all debris out no later than 8 a.m. on Monday, July 9. Please be advised that once City crews have been through your neighborhood, they will not be returning.

The City encourages residents that are able to haul their own debris to bring it to the Rako Street site located west of the Police Training Center on Rako Street between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Please help the neighbors on your street who are elderly, have a disability or may have a hard time removing the debris.

Diamond Point Park is closed until further notice. The City of Bemidji requests that all residents stay out of the park.

Water and sewer are functioning fine.
