Red Lake Walleye at Fancy Food Show in DC

Red Lake, Minnesota, June 6, 2012- The Red Lake Nation Fishery will be attending the Fancy Food Show in Washington DC at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center on June 17-19. The booth will be set up with other American Indian Food producers in Hall D at booth 5772.

On the pristine Red Lake waters in Northern Minnesota, our Famous Walleye are wild caught by our tribal anglers and hand filleted. The walleye will be cooked for tasting along with our signature smoked whitefish. We would also like to take the opportunity to educate the public on our sustainable practices and the importance of the Red Lakes to our tribe.
