Tribes sue business for allegedly dumping trash on Reservation

FORT HALL — The Shoshone-Bannock Tribes’ Land Use Policy Commission filed a judicial enforcement action against Ideal Roofing, its owners Dale Owen and Karen Brennan, and employees last week for dumping roofing materials and construction debris on the Fort Hall Reservation. Illegal dumping of trash or debris on the Reservation violates the Tribes’ Land Use Policy Ordinance and constitutes a trespass.
