Ponemah Easter Egg Hunt

The Ponemah Easter Egg Hunt was held on Easter Sunday at noon at the Ponemah Pow-wow arena and softball field. The youth had a great afternoon hunting for eggs.

We had over 300 youth in attendance and prizes consisting of 2 dirt bikes, 2 bikes, 2 scooters, 1 electric 4-wheeler, along with 32 gift cards (ranging from $100 down to $15), and Easter pails filled with candy and toys. There were 3100 eggs filled this year. It was great to see all that attended.

A special thank you to Frances (Franny) Miller, Mike Seki, Bruce Taylor, Bobby Jo Holthusen for being there assisting with getting the event started and completing it, and Richard Pearsal for all the pictures.

Changes were made with the age group this year due to the toddlers being too small to run and getting hurt last year.

Thank you to the donation sponsors, Red Lake Gaming, Red Lake Recreation Department and Horizons.
