Bemidji Home Depot donates materials and labor to Red Lake Boys & Girls Club

On Thursday, April 12, 2012, volunteers from the Bemidji Home Depot donated their time to the Red Lake Boys and Girls Club.

The group of 6 provided labor for the Club to do some needed repairs, including construct shelving, new counters in board room, painting, and some other small projects

All materials and supplies were also donated by Home Depot, part of a $10,000 grant awarded to Red Lake this year and written by Executive Director Dawn Huseby.

Since its formation in 2002, The Home Depot Foundation has granted more than $270 million to nonprofit organizations improving homes and lives in local communities.

The staff of the Red Lake Boys and Girls Club also provided the group with a noon feast in appreciation of their time and work.
