Red Lake To Host Second Elders Summit

Red Lake will host it’s Second Annual Elders Summit at Seven Clans Casino - Red Lake on Thursday and Friday April 5th and 6th, 2012. The event will include informational booths, and youth volunteers from the Youth Council, and High School Boys and Girls Basketball teams.

The event begins with registration on Thursday beginning at 8 AM. At 9 AM Spiritual Elder Eugene Stillday will offer the invocation, followed by drum songs by the Red Lake Singers, and then a Welcome/opening remarks-Co-Facilitators-Cheri Goodwin & Delwyn Holthusen Jr. The rest of the tentative agenda is as follows:
