SAN DIEGO: Pala membership dispute argued in court

If the federal government doesn't step in quickly, members of a family expelled from the Pala Band of Mission Indians are likely to lose their homes, jobs, income and health care, according to a lawyer for about 60 people removed from the North County tribe.
