RLES Students Present Donation to Red Lake Rosie's Rescue Shelter

Students of Red Lake Elementary School presented Red Lake Rosie's Rescue Shelter with a donation at their school-wide morning meeting today. Representing Red Lake Rosie's were Carol Priest and her friend Molly. Students and staff of RLES held a Pennies for Pets penny drive for the entire month of February, also selling Kindness-grams during Kindness Week. Altogether, the donation totaled $363.14. The funds will go toward medical care and food for the animals of Red Lake Rosie's. In 2011 Red Lake Rosie's Rescue Shelter rescued 609 animals and spayed and neutered 731 animals.
