Military installation hosts local community council March 2

MINNEAPOLIS-ST. PAUL INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT AIR RESERVE STATION, Minn. — The Minneapolis-St. Paul Air Reserve Station will hold its quarterly Base Community Council (BCC) meeting March 2 at Kieran’s in Minneapolis from 1-3 p.m.

The purpose of the BCC is to provide an opportunity for community members to meet with leadership from different branches of the Armed Forces stationed in Minnesota to discuss relevant topics applicable to both military and civilians. Previous topics have included Veteran’s Day activities, military hiring fairs and volunteers needed for a community clean-up project.

Col. Darrell Young, 934th Airlift Wing commander, will host this event, which is open to any community member who would like to know more about the military happenings in Minnesota.
