Barb Ann Brown

Barb Ann Brown, 46, of Red Lake, MN passed away Tuesday, February 21, 2012 at Sanford Bemidji Medical Center.

Memorial Services will be at 1:00 pm Saturday, February 25, 2012 at the Little Rock Center in Red Lake, MN. A wake will begin at 2:00 pm Thursday, February 23, 2012 at the Little Rock Center and go until the time of service on Saturday. The Cease Family Funeral Home of Bemidji assisted the family with arrangements.

She was born February 19, 1966 in Bemidji, MN the daughter of George and Virginia (Nelson) Brown. She met David Layton, Sr. in high school and they had 3 children. She later met Bobby Benais. She liked doing puzzles, working with birch bark, playing bingo and going for car rides. She loved being with her children and friends.

She is survived by her children: Bonnie Brown, Amber Layton and David Layton, Jr.; brother William Brown; step-father Peter Bohn and her significant other Bob Benais.

She was preceded in death by her parents George and Virginia Brown and her siblings Ruth, George, Karen and James.

Honorary Casketbearers will be Doris Benais, Thelma Redeagle, Jane Benais, Judy Beaulieu, Karen Benais and Shirley Benais.

Active Casketbearers will be Brandon Cloud, Lawrence Kingbird and Merwin Hill.
