Jane Frances Mitchell

Jane Frances Mitchell, 42, of Minneapolis, MN, passed away on Wednesday, February 1, 2012 at Fairview University Hospital in Minneapolis. She was born on November 12, 1969 in Minneapolis, to Samuel Mitchell, Sr. and Ruby (Wilkins) Mitchell.

Jane was preceded in death by her parents, brothers; Steven and Jon Mitchell and sister; Roberta Burnette.

She is survived by her children; Daniel and Juanita Mitchell both of Minneapolis, brothers; Samuel Mitchell, Jr. of Plymouth, MN, Jerome Mitchell of Cass Lake, MN and Rodney Strong of Bemidji, MN. Sister Ruby Wilkins of Red Lake, MN, Grand daughter Aleena, niece Rachel Merritt, one grand daughter on the way other relatives and many friends.

A wake service will be at The Church of Gichitwaa Kateri in Minneapolis on Sunday, February 5th from 3-6 p.m. and continue at the Veteran's Memorial Building in Cass Lake until the 2:00 p.m. service on Monday, February 6th. Spiritual leader will be Steve Jackson. Active pallbearers for Jane will be; Daniel Mitchell, Brandon Howard, Alex Bellanger, William Zaragoza, Jerry Mitchell, Ronnie Merritt, Christian McCormick and Jim Wilkins. Honorary pallbearers will be Samuel Mitchell, Jr and Ryan Merritt. Interment will be held in the Boy Lake Cemetery at Boy River, MN following the service.
